Micropump® offers a suction shoe gear pump design that maintains
high volumetric efficiency even at elevated differential pressures.
These pumps self-compensate for wear, resulting in near zero slip for
more accurate continuous metering requirements. Ideal for numerous
applications, the design increases overall pump performance and enhances
durability.
Micropump's patented technology utilizes a pressure-loaded suction shoe
around the internal gears. The discharge pressure keeps the suction shoe
seated tightly on top of the gears, which prevents flow from decreasing
at higher outlet pressures. This action allows the pumps to self-compensate
for wear and thermal expansion, in turn providing better performance.
The design uses a reduced number of parts to minimize downtime and extend
pump life.
Micropump currently utilizes the suction shoe technology in its Series
GA, Series GB and Series GC pumps. Additionally, helical gears are available
in these pumps to assure accurate flow over a wide temperature range. |
