In addition to initiating magnetic drive gear pump technology, we are recognized as a leader in the design and development of miniature, low flow, positive displacement pumps; engineered composite gears for gear pumps; and electromagnetic drives. Quality Control

With stringent ISO 9001 quality control processes in place, as well as ATEX Certification for European safety standards, Micropump ensures the quality of both new and existing pump designs. Micropump implemented its first Total Quality Control (TQC) program in 1981, and today uses Statistical Quality Control (SQC) methods to monitor its processes. Micropump has established a stringent Quality and Environmental Policy to ensure customer satisfaction with every product.

Micropump is also dedicated to the preservation of the environment through its participation in ISO 14001 continuous improvement programs in the areas of waste minimization, pollution prevention, and resource conservation.

Kaizen is a business practice that enables Micropump to eliminate waste, and to continuously improve manufacturing and other parts of Micropump’s business. Most Kaizen events have occurred in manufacturing, where it has been used to significantly reduce the distance that operators travel, floor space, inventory, and cycle time. It also has brought improvements in transactional office processes.
